Explain Yourself™ Party Card Game

Every other game on this shelf hands you a question and waits. This one makes you earn it.

Draw three cards. Keep one. Read it out loud: Who had the weirdest first job? Who has bought something at 1am they don't remember ordering? Then the table decides who's on the hook. Everyone puts a hand in, and on three you all point at the person you most want to hear. Whoever gets the most fingers has thirty seconds to explain themselves, and it has to be true.

Fill the time, keep the card. Can't? You forfeit it, and the first person to slap a hand on it tells their story instead. Most cards after three laps wins.

The cards are the score, so there's nothing to write down. The timer settles it, so nobody has to play referee. You talk until the sand runs out, and thirty seconds is just long enough that you can't fake it.

Everyone confesses exactly once. One card a game, you skip the vote and claim the story yourself. Knowing when to spend it is the whole strategy.
